Ramon’s White-Toothed Shrew

The species was first identified in Israel in 1996 and has only been found between Makhtesh Ramon and Sede Boqer and on the Sartaba in Samaria. The entire known global population lives in Israel.

Distribution: Has only been found between Makhtesh Ramon and Sede Boqer and on the Sartaba in Samaria.
Habitat: Steppe wadis with abundant vegetation: desert broom, tamarisk and saltbush.
