Ramallah is a Palestinian city in the central West Bank located 10 km north of Jerusalem. It currently serves as the administrative capital of the Palestinian National Authority. Ramallah was historically an Arab Christian town. Today Muslims form the majority of the population of around 28,000 with Christians making up a significant minority.
