Herzliya הֶרְצֵלִיָּה

Herzliya city is in the central coastal area located in the Northern part of the Tel Aviv District with a population around 95,000. It was named after Theodor Herzl in 1924 and has grown rapidly since 1948.

Today it is a vibrant commercial centre and hub of high-tech companies. It is one of Israel’s most affluent communities which includes Herzliya Pituah one of Israel’s most exclusive neighborhoods which is home to Embassies prominent Israelis. Geographically it is divided into two parts separated by the main highways and rail line that cut through it. To the east of the highways is Herzliya, the city itself, often referred to by locals as ‘the city’. To the west is the exclusive coastline with beachfront hotels and expensive residences.
